Mark Slaughter and Kane Roberts rock with Sergeant Steel!

Earlier this year Austrian rockers Sergeant Steel travelled to Nashville/Tennessee once again. Top-producer Michael Wagener worked with them on an album for the second time. The group has announced on their website recently, that it’s titled „Riders Of The Worm“, and that further music legends appear on it.

Linz/Austria, Nashville/Tennessee/USA –Michael Wagener made music history. The German-American produced and engineered for Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne and Skid Row among others. Sergeant Steel’s mastermind Jack Power reports two more high-quality guest contributions on the band’s website.

Mark Slaughter from melodic hard rockers Slaughter (5 million records sold worldwide) sings a duett with frontman Phil Vanderkill. Kane Roberts plays a guitar solo in his very own style. He was co-responsible for Alice Cooper’s successful comeback in the eighties.

Jack Power states emotionally: „With Mark and Kane I combine wonderful hours of my youth. Especially the debut albums of Slaughter and the Vinnie Vincent Invasion as well as Alice’s album “Raise Your Fist And Yell” and both Kane’s solo albums represent true milestones for inspiration to little Jack.“ „Riders Of The Worm“ is going to be released via the band’s own label Boyz Tyme Records by the end of November.

SATAN

Following the successs of their recent South American tour, British heavy metal band SATAN are set to release their new studio album ‘Atom By Atom’ this October on Listenable Records. The LP features ten songs written by the band (including a collaboration with Angel Witch’s Kevin Heybourne).

In fact the band have also recruited the same artist Eliran Kantor for the new LP cover.

Guitarist Steve Ramsey said ‘We wanted to keep some continuity going with both the look and sound of this album. We’ve been working on the music for nearly two years now and I think people will definitely hear a progression from Life Sentence. I can’t really describe it but I promise you, these songs will speak for themselves.’

Release date is scheduled for early October.
SATAN’s previous LP ‘Life Sentence’ took the metal world by surprise two years ago, and subsequent sales led to touring on an unprecedented level for this Newcastle based outfit.
Countries visited include Canada, USA, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia,Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy. PENTAGRAM

Legendary U.S. heavy/doom metal band Pentagram reunites with Peaceville Records for its new studio album, Curious Volume, to be released 28th August. Featuring 11 classic heavy metal compositions with catchy hooks from core band members Victor Griffin, Greg Turley, and Bobby Liebling (Pete Campbell on the drums completes the band’s lineup), the album was recorded with Swedish producer Mattias Nilsson at studios located in Maryland and Virginia. Additional recording took place in Tennessee with Grammy-Award-winning producer Travis Wyrick, who also produced Pentagram’s previous album, Last Rites. The album’s cover artwork was provided courtesy of Richard Schouten. To support the new album, the band has tours planned in North America and Europe throughout 2015/2016.

Formed in the early 1970s with a debut album, Relentless, releasing in 1985, Pentagram has survived through more than four decades filled with adversity and triumph to become the legendary international act it is today, firmly stamping its name into the heavy metal history books. Although once viewed as a cult act but with a strong and dedicated global fan base, Pentagram has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity due in part to the 2011 documentary, Last Days Here, which follows the trials and tribulations of a troubled rock star, Pentagram’s lead singer Bobby Liebling. With a DVD release set for this fall on Peaceville’s label, the documentary has garnered international recognition on the film festival circuit and has won several awards, including “Best Music Documentary” at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.

The band recently released their double DVD collection ‘All Your Sins’, featuring over 7 hours of live footage spanning a period of three decades.

The new band's name says it all....SUPREMACY.

This band marks the return of the amazing alliance between singer Claus Lessmann (ex-BONFIRE) with Michael Voss (CASANOVA, MAD MAX) plus Robby Boebel (ex FRONTLINE, EVIDENCE ONE) on guitar, Axel Kruse (ex-JADED HEART) on drums and former SCORPIONS bass player Francis Buchholz.

The guys are currently working on some extremely promising demo material and have inked a recording contract with Frontiers Music Srl for a release of their debut album in late 2015 / early 2016.

»My God-Given Right« wurde von Oktober 2014 bis Februar 2015 unter der bewährten Obhut von Charlie Bauerfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, HAMMERFALL u.a.)  in den Hauseigenen MiSueno Studio auf Teneriffa aufgenommen und produziert.
Das aufwendige Artwork, welches es erstmals auch in 3D Lentikular geben wird, wurde abermals von Bandgraphiker Martin Häusler (BON JOVI, QUEEN, GOTTHARD u.a.) entworfen.

Mit ihrem letzten Studioalbum »Straight Out Of Hell« gelang HELLOWEEN mit einem sensationellen #4 ihre bis dato höchste Chart-Platzierung in Deutschland, wo sich der Longplayer stolze fünf Wochen lang hielt. Nach den erfolgreichen Veröffentlichungen von 'Dark Side Of The Mule' und 'Sco-Mule' stehen nun die letzten beiden Alben im Rahmen der Feier zum 20järigen Bestehen der Band an…

Mit 'Dub Side Of The Mule'/ VÖ 03.04.2015 kann man sich von den Reggae- Qualitäten der Band überzeugen und einem Gastauftritt von Gregg Allman beiwohnen. Fans beider Künstler/ Bands werden Zeuge eines fabelhaften Live Gigs in 2006 im legendären Beacon Theatre in New York City!

Die Show beinhaltete mehr als drei Stunden Mule und Cover Songs, darunter ein 60-Minuten- Set von Toots & The Maytals, sowie spezielle Auftritte von Gregg Allman & Friends und John Popper (Blues Traveler). Alle 34 Titel wurden neu gemischt und gemastert.

Am 17. April erscheint zudem mit 'Stoned Side Of The Mule' die letzte Veröffentlichung der Jubiläums Reihe, die nur als Vinyl erscheinen wird. Hierbei geht es um dem legendären Halloween Auftritt 2009 im Tower Theater in der Nähe von Philadelphia . Die Show zeigt eine Reihe von leidenschaftlichen und auf den Punkt gebrachten Rolling Stones Cover Songs, die nur Mule auf diese Art liefern können! Besondere Gästen wie Jackie Greene ( Phil Lesh & Friends, Black Crowes , Trigger Hippy ) und Saxophonist Steve Elson (Stevie Ray Vaughan , Radiohead , David Bowie ) runden das Ganze dann mehr als ab.

Kurzinfo: Erstmalig findet im August 2015 das neue, genreübergreifende Festival A Summer's Tale in Luhmühlen (ca. 20 km westlich von Lüneburg) statt. Von Mittwoch, 5. August, bis Samstag, 8. August, bietet A Summer's Tale an insgesamt vier Tagen ein vielseitiges Kulturprogramm, das über den Rahmen eines Musikfestivals hinausreicht. MOTÖRHEAD

40 Jahre Motörhead – und kein bißchen leise. Es gibt noch mehr Gründe als sonst,die Ikonen des Rock zu feiern: Bühnenjubiläum, ein neues Album im Herbst, Lemmy wird im Dezember 70 und es wird getourt und auf Festivals rund um den Globus gespielt:

Momentan ist die Band mit ihrem langjährigen Produzenten Cameron Webb im Studio und arbeitet an ihrem 22. Studioalbum, das im Herbst 2015 auf den Markt kommt. Im April fliegt Motörhead bereits nach Südamerika und bestreitet die Monster Rock Tour ( mit Judas Priest und Ozzy Osbourne).
Anschließend erleben wir sie in der Zeit vom 30. Mai bis zum 17. Juli auf insgesamt 10 Festivals in Europa ( Deutschland: Rock am Rhein / Rock im Park). Danach geht es nach Japan und Korea mit den Foo Fighters. Hoffentlich eine kleine Verschnaufpause bevor die US Tour im Frühherbst auf dem Programm steht .Entspannung danach auf dem Motörboat, welches am 28.9. seine Segel hisst und dann ist es schon bald wieder Zeit, die Deutschland Tour zu starten.

Und es zeigt sich wieder, man ruht sich nicht auf den Lorbeeren aus – Motörhead are f….ucking hard working!!!

Der Frühling wird rocken! Mit einer gnadenlos packenden Live-Show aus dem Jahr 2013 und den remasterten Versionen der ersten sechs VAN HALEN-Alben überrascht die Band aus Kalifornien ihre Fans im kommenden Frühjahr.
Bereits Ende März erscheint das erste VAN HALEN Live-Album mit Original-Sänger David Lee Roth! Die Aufnahme entstand am 21. Juni 2013 im berühmten Tokyo Dome während einer Japan-Tour und enthält Songs aus allen sieben VAN HALEN-Alben an denen David Lee Roth mitwirkte!

Das Live-Album präsentiert die elektrisierende Performances von Sänger David Lee Roth, Gitarrist Eddie van Halen, Drummer Alex Van Halen und dem 2006 dazu gestoßenen Bassisten Wolfgang Van Halen, dem Sohn von Gitarrist Eddie. Unter anderem sind auf dem Album packende Live-Versionen von klassischen VAN HALEN-Hymnen wie Dance The Night Away, Beautiful Girls, And The Cradle Will Rock…, Unchained und Everybody Wants Some sowie kraftvolle Versionen von Tattoo, She’s The Woman und China Town aus dem jüngsten Studio-Album A Different Kind Of Truth (2012) zu hören. Mit dem Debüt-Album Van Halen erfanden VAN HALEN den Sound des Hardrock neu. Eddie Van Halens Finger-Tapping auf dem Intro Eruption war in dieser Form eine echte Innovation und gehört heute zur Grundausbildung des Metal- und Hardrock-Gitarristen. Das Album wurde zu einem 11-Song starken Rock-Manifest und gilt immer noch als eines der besten Debüt-Alben der Rockgeschichte. Van Halen nahm das Publikum im Sturm: Songs wie Runnin‘ With The Devil, Ain’t Talkin‘ ‘Bout Love, Jamie Cryin‘ und natürlich die wahnwitzig kraftvolle Version des Kinks-Klassikers You Really Got Me zählen zu den meistgespielten Songs im Rock-Radio. Fünf Alben und sechs Jahre später erschien ein weiterer Höhepunkt der Bandgeschichte: 1984 enthält ebenfalls eine ganze Reihe von heute legendären Hits, etwa die weltweite #1 Jump, Panama und Hot For Teacher. Beide Alben, Van Halen und 1984, definierten den Sound einer ganzen Generation: Jedes von ihnen wurde über 10 Millionen Mal verkauft und erhielten eine Diamant-Auszeichnung der RIAA!

Die remasterten Versionen von Van Halen und 1984 erscheinen ebenfalls am 27. März jeweils als CD, 180g-Vinyl und als Download und stammen aus einer ganzen Serie von remasterten Alben, die ebenfalls in diesem Frühjahr erscheinen werden. Jüngst sichtete die Band die originalen Mastertapes der ersten sechs VAN HALEN-Alben Van Halen (1978), Van Halen II (1979), Women And Childen First (1980), Fair Warning (1981), Diver Down (1982) und 1984 (1983) (alle mit Roth als Sänger), die Toningenieur und Mastering-Fachmann Chris Bellman in den Bernie Grundmann Mastering Studios neu bearbeitete. Um den Originalsound authentisch wiederzugeben, arbeitete er mit originalen Viertelzoll-Bändern.

Eine Deluxe-Collection von Tokyo Dome In Concert erscheint im Gesamtpaket mit den brandneu remasterten Alben Van Halen und 1984, den beiden dynamischsten und erfolgreichsten Alben der Band. Die aufwendig gestaltete Box ist als 4CD-Set, als 6LP-Set auf 180g Vinyl und zum Download erhältlich.
